The Prayer Wheel radiates Om Mani Padme Hum, which may be translated as
Om, the Jewel is in the Lotus Blossum.
It is a prayer for the enlightenment of all beings. Thanks to Osel Shen Phen, http://www.fpmt-osel.org/.

 This Book is written for those who are about to pass through this Life. It is also written for those who have or will. This Book distills ancient Wisdom and modern knowing with regard to the passage from this Life into another. It therefore evokes the Thousand Generations of Humanity, and the Memories of the Ancients. By the Divine Light we Clear and Sanctify this Doing. We trust Spirit to include all we have failed or neglected to include.

This Book imagines two roles: that of the Passer and that of the Reader. You are the Passer, and we can take only part of this Journey together. I am the Reader and I read these words to ease your passing and to console those who remain.

These words are intended to be read during the passing of one who would know reports in advance of the Journey. The Reader, in reading with intent, manifests this knowledge to the Passer, even if the Passer does not appear present at the reading. The act of reading this Book with such intent is a religious act and a sacred service to the Passer. Thus, this is now a Place of Power; the Rite begins Here & Now.

FIRST PASSAGE: KNOWING

Ancient are the reports of the Journey beyond this Life.
From when humans first linked sounds into ideas,
the far-seers, shamans, wise ones, have reported on the Other Side.
They have journeyed and returned to the body to tell their tales.
Diverse are their stories and no person can be certain, from their reports,
what is on the Other Side, save only that "All things that are, are Light"

And many are those who have been thrown from their bodies in accident or shock.
Upon returning, they confirm the Shamans' tales and report a Land of Peace and Light..
and regret at returning. This Land is known as the Spirit Realm or the Buddha Pure Land.
It is said that if you call upon Amida Buddha (the Buddha of Infinite Light)
even once with faith in His Compassion, you will be reborn into the Pure Land,
which is a place of rest between incarnations. But this is not the only possibility.

Knowing is self-certainty. It is absolute because it is from Self;
it is limitation, nonetheless: no map is the territory...
and no study of the map is the Journey.
Yet what you now know is the absolute of your experience.

Release limitation and what will you experience? You will experience the Light.

The ancient Truth is that you may Choose to Ascend.
You may release the limitation of body and belief, and ...
be gone to Light. This is the Way of the Ascended Master.
As the Ram says, the Ascended leave no bones behind to worship.
This, then, is the First Choice:

SECOND PASSAGE: CESSATION

If, however, it is not now your True Will to Ascend,
you have chosen to allow the Path of Death.
Passings are peaceful or not: we pray for Peace at your passing.

Of the cessation of biological life, little may be said, for the change is so slight.
Where there was heartbeat, there is none;
where there was breath, there is none;
where was electric brain function, there is none...
and where there was Life there is Hope.

Let the breath be released; let there be Peace.

The Second Choice is now offered to you: to continue or not.
At the Moment of Cessation, you may choose to continue as an entity, or to dissolve.
If the shock of cessation has not been too great you may easily choose continuity.
There are those who do not know, and those in deep shock, who do not choose to continue.
They too reach Freedom, by dissolution into the Ground of All Being.

THIRD PASSAGE: LIBERATION

Other realms there are than manifest reality.
You have passed the Test of Continuity;
now you face the Test of Liberation.

The materialists have no view beyond this life of the body.
All others have Hope that there are many realities beyond the material.
This is the view that quantum and post-quantum physics offer.

This is the view of true religion.
The Many Worlds are now available to you.

Yours is the Third Choice: you may choose to Reincarnate.
You are no longer bound to the cosmic spec known as Terra;
you transcend Gravity, as Light.
You are no longer bound to this Universe of Galaxies.
Infinite are the Universes open to you.
Releasing limitation, your Choice is infinite.

And, as YOU ARE GODNESS, you may choose as you will:

FOURTH PASSAGE: REPOSE

Now, in the moment before Choice, is the Time of Repose.
But there is no time here. There is Peace here beyond manifest Illusion.

Here all possible Realities (and they are infinite) are known to be Maya, Illusion.
Here, in the Bosom of Goddess, all is Peace.

Thus the Fourth Choice is Non-Reincarnation.
Here the Wheel of Lives is stopped and you may now Ascend in Spirit
to the infinite Light which pierces Illusion and is the Ground of All Being:

  FIFTH PASSAGE: REBIRTH

Here and Now, your Choice is Resolved to Here and Now.

If you have chosen to be reborn, you need to choose Here and Now.
The Here and Now of this Reader is not the only Here and Now.

The Fifth Choice is yours.
Choose as you will, for you are Godness and all Choice is yours.
Be open to Love and you will choose well.

Ishtar, Gaia,
Demeter, Aphrodite;
Isis, Hecate,
Innana, Eris--
Dianna, Persephone;
Artemis and Freya.

All these are Names
Of Goddess most high;

We are Her children
In whom She exists;
We are creation
Creating Creatrix:

We are each Godness,
Her Voice and Her Eyes--
Ever and Ever, the Spirit of Life--

Mind without end,

Mind without end.
