Jeremy was a lonely little boy, and no one ever came to play with him. He wondered why, But the days went by and after awhile Jeremy began to stop wondering why on one ever came to play and he even forgot he was lonely.

One day, while walking in the woods, Jeremy found a little bird with a broken wing. The little bird had just fallen from the sky and was still flapping about.

Help," said the little bird, "Help me and I'll be your friend."

So Jeremy picked up the little bird and carried it gently home where he put it in a big pot with some potatoes, carrots and lots and lots of hot, boiling water.

And he ate the little bird for dinner.

Now because the little bird was actually at the top of a food chain, and had lots and lots of pesticides in him, Jeremy got quite sick, and Jeremy's parents had to rush him to the hospital where he met allot of nice people who pumped his stomach and administered IVs.

Just before he died, Jeremy was lonely no more.
