Winning Library Grants Video Contest

Submit Your Video!

16 library grant success stories were highlighted in our last Neal-Schuman book, Grants for Libraries: A How-To-Do-It Manual. Now is your chance to be included in our next book, Winning Grants: A Multimedia How-To-Do-It Manual for Librarians!

Just submit a 5 minute video about your library grant success story by Oct. 30, 2009 for your chance to be spotlighted in our new book and DVD. We'll be in touch to let you know if your library has been chosen.

Here are some helpful guidelines to submit a winning video:

  • If you don't already have one, sign up for a YouTube account. Just go to http://www.youtube.com and follow the steps.
  • Next, upload your video. When you upload, you are agreeing to YouTube's Terms of Use (especially section 5, covering "User Submissions").
  • Remember to include the name, e-mail address and phone number of your library in the description box for your video. We'll need that to contact you.
  • Now you're ready to submit your video to the Winning Library Grants group. Visit http://www.youtube.com/group/librarygrants and click "Add a Video".
  • That's it! We'll send you an e-mail after your video has been received and soon it will be added to the contest submissions.

Thanks!
