You can print off an application from our website (fax or mail back to us) or email a request for an application and we will reply with one attached.

Application Review
Your application is carefully reviewed to see if a Dalmatian is a good breed for your family.  Your vet and other references are checked, as is your general situation.  If we feel your situation would make a good home for a Dalmatian, we move on to the next step.

Spot Three

Home Visit

We will either call or email you and arrange a home visit.  The home visit is done with all family members present and sometimes we will be able to bring the dog that you might be interested in.  We conduct a home check to ensure that you have a safe, loving environment for your new friend.  We can offer suggestions on fencing, plants, door latches and other situations that might involve the dog.

Spot Four

Visit with dog(s)

Next is setting up a time where you can visit with a dog that you are interested in or several dogs that might be a good match.  Not only is it helpful for you to see the dog in it’s foster home or neutral territory, but it is better for the dog to transition to a new family.  At this time additional questions that you might have can be addressed.

Spot Five

Adoption

If both parties are in agreement, the adoption can take place.  We present a folder upon adoption that contains all the vetting records, foster profile, and any other information we have gathered while the dog was in rescue.  We have you sign our adoption agreement and your copy is placed inside the folder.  Usually, the dog will come with a favorite toy or blanket he/she had while in our care.
