Jane Hwa Hu has lived a truly international life. In her poetry, East meets West with a familial hug. This educated lady can boast not only of extensive travel & a PhD, but also several published books of poems, including A Sojourner from Noble House (1994), and My Life's Passages from Ink Drop Press (1999), which features her beautiful sonnets. White Wings is indebted to Jane for her gracious moral support and generous offerings of her work. Jane likes to write in both Chinese, her native language, and English, her adopted tongue. I continue to be enchanted by her simple, imagistic style; by the deeply personal feel of her poems. Through her innocent, loving eye, one may see old issues and concepts with a fresh and positive perspective.
