Objective:

To establish a mutually beneficial relationship through sponsorship that would provide support and grant more exposure and access to the highest levels of National Bass Tournament circuits.  To further enhance my bass fishing capabilities so I'm able to take the acquired skills and teach to local youth.  I want to help develop their skills and capabilities to influence other youth in the community to focus on positive activities.  I want to show that there are positive options available and ultimately counter drug use and criminal activities.

Executed a Bass Club Seminar introducing various Gambler baits to 26 club members, described and demonstrated numerous rigging options to members which resulted in a $550 order
Distributed Gambler-Bang product catalogs and promotional items at the Kiwanis 5th Annual "Test The Water" Youth Fishing Tournament, Winter Park, Florida Park and Recreation Department and Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.

January 1988 to October 1990 Military Bass Anglers Association
The military's equivalent to B.A.S.S., Red Man, FLW and other much larger Bass Tournament circuits.  Participants from all functions of the Department of Defense.  Averages approximately 100 boats with participants coming from all over the country, including Puerto Rico, Hawaii and Alaska

January 1997 to Current - 16 MXS Bass Club  
Club Founder and Tournament Director for first two years, Club President and Youth Activity Coordinator for two years, currently maintaining member status.  Club was formed to provide a means for our military personnel to fellowship, contributing to esprit de corps. efforts, also to enhance the capabilities of our military Bass Fishermen.  Membership of approximately 40 active duty, reserve and retired personnel.

January 2000 to Current - Central Florida Bass Fishing Club
Club affiliated with the Unified Bass Club Trail (POCO), maintains active involvement with youth in the Central Florida area and abroad.  Very strong leadership, all club officers are very positive and focused on doing good things for the community and the Bass fishing industry.  Membership of approximately 78 personnel.  Club Sponsors: Nu-Legend Boats, Young Brothers Pools, Eatonville Diversified, Culprit baits, Glover Signs, Shimano Rods/Reels, K&P Embroidery, Maui-Jim Sunglasses, X-Point Hooks, Tru-Turn Hooks, John/John Orange Juice, and 3-D Tires.

January 2000 to 2002 - Unified Bass Club Tournament Trail/People of Color Outdoors (POCO)
Company was formed to promote bass fishing tournaments that would encourage fishing as a competitive sport for all Americans with emphasis on the development of the minority population: Blacks, Hispanics, Asians, Native Americans, Women, and inner-city youths.  Although our emphasis is placed on the development of a particular group or segment of the population of the United States, it is the expressed policy of POCO not to discriminate against any person or group based on race, color, creed, sex, sexual preference, religion or national origin.  Membership of approximately 1200 personnel.  Club Sponsors:  Ranger Boats, Yamaha, Birmingham Boat Repair Inc.

February 2000 to Current - Theodore Roosevelt Conservation Alliance (TRCA)
The TRCA is an alliance of conservation groups and individuals that support hunting, shooting, fishing and other recreational uses of Forest Service lands.  Its mission is to inform and engage Americans to foster our conservation legacy while working to nurture, enhance and protect the fish, wildlife and habitat resources on the 192 million acre National Forest System.  Six founding groups serve as trustees of TRCA, including Izaak Walton League of America, Mule Deer Foundation, Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, Trout Unlimited, Wildlife Forever and Wildlife Management Institute.  The TRCA is named for America's 26th President, an avid outdoorsman known for his conservation ethic and featured in its new video, "America's Outdoor Heritage."  The TRCA supports sound stewardship of fish, wildlife and ecological resources and associated recreational opportunities, and provides an enduring foundation for today's hunters and anglers-as well as future generations to be engaged in the policy and management of our National Forest System.

Special Events
June 2006 2nd Annual Kid’s “Day with the Pros” fishing event at the Destin Pond.  Utilized Bass Pro Shop, Snag Proof, Gambler-Bang, BassMedics, Mercury Marine and TTI-Blakemore Fishing Group products as incentives for prize packs for each of the participants and their parents.  The temperature ranged in the high 90’s during this event so participation numbers (12) were half of last’s year’s.  The event was a success due to good fish catches and the smiles on the faces of all involved with this worthwhile event.  Special thanks goes to Kenneth Jordan of Panama City for supporting this event for two consecutive years, also to Laura Taylor for the support and guidance she provided the youth this year.

January 2004 Kiwanis 6th Annual “Test The Waters” Youth Fishing Tournament, Winter Park, Florida Parks and Recreation Department and Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.  Provided fishing support and advice to all youth participants.  This year’s event drew over 115 youth for two consecutive years.  Provided sponsor products supplied by BassMedics, Gambler Worms, Bass Pro Shop, Young Brothers Pools & Marcite, Tracker Marine/Nitro Boats and Mercury Marine.  Maintained an annual hands-on role model posture for the youth in the Winter Park Community

April 2000 Youth Activity Bass Tournament, Eglin Air Force Base, Florida, Army Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES) and 96 Services Squadron Sponsored fishing tournament and seminar.  Exposed youth ages 6-14 to Bass fishing techniques on a local lake also followed up with a casting demo by "Shag Shahid" and general fishing information from "Willie Ridgeway," a Florida Professional Tournament Fisherman, the kids really enjoyed themselves.

May 2002 Kiwanis 4th Annual “Test The Waters” Youth Fishing Tournament, Winter Park, Florida Parks and Recreation Department and Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.  Provided a casting clinic coupled with fishing advice and support to over 200 residents.  Maintained a hands-on role model posture to the youth in the Winter Park Community.

May 23, 2002 Wal-Mart Take a Kid Fishing “A Day with the Pros,” Sandersville, Georgia.  Provided a casting clinic and casting contest with prizes provided by Wal-Mart.  Talked with the local youth about establishing solid work ethics and staying focused on reaching goals.

July 20, 2002 Annual Inner City Youth Tournament, Coastline Park, 900 W. 9th Street, Sanford, Florida.  Executed an on-site drive-by tournament weigh-in for all in attendance.  Provided competitive events with prizes provided by Original Central Florida Bass Fishing Club and Mercury Marine.  This year’s theme was establishing immediate, short-range and long-range goals and taking steps to achieve those goals.

January 25, 2003 Kiwanis 5th Annual “Test The Waters” Youth Fishing Tournament, Winter Park, Florida Parks and Recreation Department and Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.  Provided a casting clinic coupled with fishing advice and support to over 115 youth and 50 adult residents.  Provided sponsor products supplied by Gambler Worms, Culprit Worms, Bass Pro Shop, Young Brothers Pools & Marcite, and Mercury Marine.  Maintained a hands-on role model posture to the youth in the Winter Park Community
