Here is a photo of a stained-glass window in the Grand Hall of Stirling Castle. Visible in the upper right is the family crest ("coat of arms") of William Hay, from whom we are descended through Mom.

Here is a photo of the thrones in the castle's Grand Hall. That'd be Frank sitting there in one. I can't tell if his sweater is the Hay tartan or not. Probably not -- I think it has more of a green background.

Here is a photo of the castle as taken from the memorial to William Wallace, the guy who led the Scottish rebellion against Edward I (Mel Gibson played Wallace in "Braveheart") and, apparently, also one of our ancestors.

Here is a photo of William Wallace's sword. It's not entirely obvious from this picture, but this pigsticker is 6 feet long. It would seem our ancestor was a bad*ss.
