Hi, we're Lex and Ann. Welcome to our home page, which was last updated
on 4/5/2003.
You are visitor number
to visit this site since noon ET June
29, 2001.
Here
are some links to some photos my brother Frank
took of Stirling Castle in Scotland in July. I'm unclear on exactly
how it figures into our family (the Hay family, my mother's side), but
maybe some year I'll have time to read The Family of Hay and learn
all that.
Here are some writing
samples from Lex, Ann, or people we know, or by unknown people but
we liked them anyway. There's a link for you to submit stuff for consideration
if you like.

Lex's brother Frank, along
with his family -- wife Susan and daughters Taylor, Jordan and Whitney.
As you will see from the link, he is a man of many talents.
Lex's cousin Jay and Jay's wife, Sue, have triplets.
Scary.
Carroll,
a friend of Lex's from high school who now has the daunting task of running
the University of Mississippi's Language Resource Center. She asked me
not to include her last name on the page so that the Web-sniffers won't
find her, but I think she's dreaming :-)
Jim Rosenberg, a local humorist.
Lex and Jim each warn the public about the other's instabilities and propensity
for anti-social behavior.
Andy Duncan,
a former college bud of Ann's and former co-worker of Lex and Ann's who
left newspapers to become a real writer.
Lex's friend Tony Patterson,
who has some very definite opinions about UNC basketball. And restaurants.
A former co-worker, Jayson Singe, a photographer who now uses Macromedia's
Flash and other cool tools to do cutting-edge Web work at NeonSky.com.
Jayson won a 2002 Webby award
for his independent documentary, Becoming
Human.
