Danny   Well, I have some news.  I talked to both of
                Joey's parents, and they both can come.

DJ           Do both of them know that the other is coming?

Danny   No, and that is what has me worried.

Steph    Why didn't you say something to them?

Danny   Because I talked to Col. Gladstone first, he
                said he would have to let me know if he could
                come.  Right after I talked to Mrs. Gladstone,
                who said she would definitely be there, he 
                called back and said he would be coming.  He 
                didn't give me a chance to tell him.  Mrs.
                Gladstone is on her way already.  

DJ           So, all of us will be in Vegas by noon tomorrow.

Steph     What are we going to do about the cake and 
                decorations?

Danny   I've already called the hotel.  They will have
                one of the small conference rooms decorated and
                set-up for the party.

Michle   It's not going to be one of those black "over
                the hill" parties?

Danny   No, I remembered what Rebecca said about a second
                childhood, so, it is going to be a circus theme.

DJ           Maybe we should move the party to The Circus/
                Circus Hotel.

Danny   I have everything arranged already!

DJ          Dad, I'm joking!

Steph     So it looks like it is going to be a family
                party.

Danny   Kimmy what are you doing?

Kimmy   I am taking my suitcase upstairs.  Geez, some
                people are dense!

DJ         Kimmy, what are you doing here with that bag?

Kimmy   I am spending the night so that I don't miss our
                flight tomorrow.

DJ           But Kimmy, we don't have a ticket for you.

Kimmy   What!  You forgot me?!

DJ           No, we didn't forget you.  The party is just for
                family.

Kimmy   I don't understand.  Everybody keeps treating me
                like I am part of this family.  And you have said
                I am like a sister to you.

Steph     Not everybody here treats you like a member of
                this family.  I treat the dog better than you.

DJ           I'm sorry Kimmy.  Let me talk to my Dad.  I'll 
                be back in a minute.

DJ           Dad?!

Danny   Yeah DJ.

DJ           We have a little problem.

Danny   What's that, Deej?

DJ           Kimmy thinks she is coming with us.  When I tried
                to explain that the party is just going to be
                family, she reminded me that I said she was like
                a sister to me.

Danny   Ok Deej, I'll what I can do.  No promises.

DJ           Kimmy, my dad said he will try to get you on 
                our flight.  But, no promises.

Kimmy   Thanks, Deej.

Danny   Kimmy, I'm sorry.  All the flights are booked.
                I didn't tell DJ, but I had trouble getting
                the rest of us to Vegas on such short notice.

Kimmy   That's OK.  I am not that close to chuckles,
                anyway.  Can I spend the night?  I don't want
                to face my parents right now.  They are going
                on a trip, and that way I can sneek back home,
                and they won't be any the wiser. 

DJ           Why don't you just tell them the truth?

Kimmy   Because, if I tell them I'm not going, they
                won't leave.  For some dumb reason they don't
                trust me in the house alone for more than an
                hour.

Steph     Could be the last time they did, you had a 
                huge party where the cops showed up in riot
                gear?

DJ           Oh, I remember that party.  That was after the 
                fire department came to put out the couch fire.

Kimmy   It wasn't that big of a fire.  It wasn't that
                big of a couch.  It was actually the love seat.

Steph     You're right.  It wasn't that bad until you
                threw the spiked punch on it.

Danny   If you promise not to have any parties, you can
                stay the night.

Kimmy   Thanks Mr. T.  I promise.

DJ           Come on Kimmy.  It is time to get up.
                We have to leave in 10 minutes.  Your
                parents left two hours ago.

Kimmy   (drowsily) Aw Deej.  Just five more minutes.  

DJ           No Kimmy!  You have to get up now!

Kimmy   (drowsily) Ok, I'm up.

DJ           Now Kimmy!

Kimmy   OK, OK! You don't have to be such a grouch
                about it.

Danny   Stay here and I'll go and check us in. 

Steph     Uncle Jessie, do you know why we are here at 7 am 
                When the party starts at noon?

Jessie    You're Dad and I figured Joey would still be asleep 
                and we could get checked in and everything without
                him seeing us.
