If you look closely at my right (your left) foot,
you will see telltale white of a cast.
All of my casts went from just under my
armpits to at least my knee. Most were to
my toes. They were not the light-weight
fiberglass casts of today. They were
good old plaster of paris.
Back
Parents took this photo thinking I would
never have another cast like this.
Unfortunitly, they were wrong.
Back
This picture was taken on easter morning.
I was surrounded by family. That is my
older
sister behind me.
I didn't just lay around all day. My father
built a special
frame to put me on. With it I could use
my arms to pull
my self around the house.
