The "Abdallah Special Brew" label above shows disturbing images of hooded and robed characters pushing blindfolded
people down a steep slide (at left side on the label) into some sort of vat and then being dragged out by ropes at the
other end.

The "Elks Brew" label shown above was a private label for the Elks Club. The label is considered a "third
label" in that it was applied to bottles of beer (already bearing the body label and neck label) to designate their special
beer. The label below is similar but includes the letters "B.P.O.E." which stands for "Benevolent Protective Order of
Elk".

With Lemp's vast network of exporters, railcars, depots, and distributors, many distributors had small 'third labels'
that were affixed to the backside of the imported bottles. These small labels informed the beer-comsuming patrons
who was responsible for importing that particular brand of beer and where more of it could be located. The following
