COLUMBIA CHILDREN’S ARBORETUM WALK

 May 28-29, 2005

The Columbia Children’s Arboretum is a unique gem of a park: 28 acres which evolved from farmland at the turn of the century to school grounds to an Arboretum with 8000 trees. It was developed mostly by the students and families who used it.  The Arboretum now has trails, a 4.5 acre meadow and a wide variety of trees.  We also walked on the Columbia Slough Dike past condominiums and float houses.
