I've always liked building models and playing with action figures (my Star Wars and G.I. Joe figures had way cooler custom
made stuff than most of my friends), and like most gamers, I started my gaming career by playing D&D with my buddies back
in Junior High School.
We often used miniatures to represent our characters on the map, and when I found out that there were rules out there
specifically for miniatures, I was very intrigued. I continued playing role-playing games for many more years, and even did
some gaming with models and toys of anime robots, but the game that really got me into minatures was "Space Hulk"
from Games Workshop. After that, there was no turning back.
I tried playing WH40K a few times, but I just wasn't happy with the way it played, so I went back to Space Hulk, and decided
to add more rules to it. I had previously tried to write role-playing games with my friends back in High School, and even
wrote (and published - on a very small scale) a tactical game for anime mecha, but the additional rules I made for Space Hulk
was basically the first true miniatures game that I ever wrote (even though it was just additional rules for an already existing
game). After reading and playing miniature games from several different companies over several years, I decided that I just
couldn't live with many of the rulesets "as is", so I went about writing my own, and I've been doing that sort of
thing for about fifteen years.
I have finished converting all of my rulesets over to PDF format. However, to save on bandwidth, I have moved several
of them (the ones for 25mm-30mm scale miniatures) over to my Geocities site (you can follow the link below to get there).
My signature "mecha" rules are still hosted here, and you can download them by clicking on the links below. Enjoy
