About this web page

Since February of 1996 I have been the author of the column Doing Windows (9x) in the monthly newsletter Boca Bits of the Boca Raton Computer Society. In that column I have furnished tips, tricks and tutorials on the various versions of Windows that I have become familiar with: Windows 95, 98, and ME. (If I decide to purchase Windows XP, then that will undoubtedly be added to the list also.)

Beginning in September of 2002 I started a new column called Fixing Windows, which will furnish you with tips, techniques, and general advice on fixing the most common problems with Windows 9x and ME.

In this web page, I have made a compilation of all the Fixing Windows articles, and then categorized them under the headings you see at the left. Click on any Category link and you will be taken to a page where you can see a list of all of the titles, in alphabetical order, for that Category's fixes. Then click on the link for the title of the fix to read it.
