UNDO YOUR MISTAKES
Each time you copy a file, or move it, or delete it or
rename it, the action can be "undone". For
example, suppose you delete a file by mistake while you
are in Explorer or My Computer. You can get the file back
by clicking "Undo" on the Edit menu.
"Undo" is also available on the context menu
that pops up when you right click a file or folder name.
So, for example, if you have just renamed a file, then
you decide you want to name it back to what you
originally called it, just right click and choose undo.
Still another way of executing an Undo is to type
<ctrl><z>. Since Windows keeps a stack of
undo items, you can repeatedly back out of several
actions you've done with files or folders in the reverse
order of how you did them previously. So when your mouse
wavers while you're copying or moving a file, and it
accidentally drops into the wrong folder, just Undo and
try again!
