MANY WAYS TO EXIT PROGRAMS
Some time ago, I wrote a column with one of the tips
being MANY WAYS TO COPY FILES. In fact, there are often
many ways to do all sorts of things in Windows. Here I'll
list all the ways I know of that you can close a program:
1) click on the Close button (the square with an x in it
at the top right of the program window.)
2) click on the System Menu icon at the top left of the
program window and then select the Close option on the
menu that scrolls down.
3) use the key sequence Alt F4.
4) click on the File menu and then select the Exit
option.
5) right click the program's Task Bar button and select
Close from the Context Menu that opens.
6) press the Ctrl, Alt, and Del keys simultaneously
(commonly called the three finger salute), which opens up
a menu of running programs; click on the program you want
to close, then click on the End Task button.
