VIEWING HIDDEN FILES IN EXPLORER

When you first got your computer with Windows 95 in it (or first installed Windows 95 on an older computer), Microsoft by default set up the Windows Explorer so certain file types were hidden. If you want to turn off this option, do so like this: in Explorer, click the View Menu (in Windows 98 and ME, it is the Tools menu.) Then click the Options item at the bottom of the menu (or the Folder Options item for Win98 and WinME.) Now click on the View tab. Finally, click to disable the option for hiding certain file types.
