THUMBNAIL VIEW
Windows ME will allow you to display
"thumbnails" of graphic images in formats like
.bmp, .gif, and .jpg. All you have to do is click on the
View menu and select the Thumbnails option. In Windows 95
(with the Desktop Update of Internet Explorer 4
installed), and in Windows 98 this is possible, too, but
the process is a bit more involved. You begin by right
clicking the folder icon for the folder you want to
enable thumbnails on, and choosing Properties from the
context menu that scrolls up. Next you select the General
tab, put a check mark next to Enable Thumbnail view and
click the OK button. Now when you open up that folder you
will see that the Thumbnails option has been added to the
View menu.
