SHOW HIDDEN COLUMNS IN DETAILS VIEW

Have you ever opened up Windows Explorer on a folder for which you had chosen Details view, and the only column showing was Name? This could happen in various ways, such as dragging the column division lines for the Size, Type, and Modified columns to the left toward the Name column so that the last three columns are hidden. Well, what if there is no division line to the right of Name, so you cannot drag it to restore the hidden columns? Here is how you restore them, using two different methods: first, you can hold down the Ctrl key while you tap the plus sign on your numeric keypad. A second way is to right click on the row that shows the column headings, which will give you a menu where you can choose what columns to display.
