SETTING SAME EXPLORER VIEW FOR ALL WINDOWS IN
WINDOWS 98 or ME
The various views that Windows Explorer (or My Computer)
allows includes the following (all of which you can
select from the View menu): Small Icons, Large Icons,
List, and Details. Perhaps you would like to choose one
view for all your folders; here's how to do it in Windows
98 or ME: first, open any Explorer folder view; now after
choosing the view option you desire to have for all
folders from the View menu, select from this same menu
the item "Folder Options". Click the View tab,
and click the "Like Current Folder" check box.
Confirm your choice by clicking "Yes" and
lastly click the OK button.
