SETTING SAME EXPLORER VIEW FOR ALL WINDOWS IN WINDOWS 98 or ME

The various views that Windows Explorer (or My Computer) allows includes the following (all of which you can select from the View menu): Small Icons, Large Icons, List, and Details. Perhaps you would like to choose one view for all your folders; here's how to do it in Windows 98 or ME: first, open any Explorer folder view; now after choosing the view option you desire to have for all folders from the View menu, select from this same menu the item "Folder Options". Click the View tab, and click the "Like Current Folder" check box. Confirm your choice by clicking "Yes" and lastly click the OK button.
