RENAMING FILES OR FOLDERS

I presume you're aware of at least one of these methods for renaming a file or folder: first, you can right-click on a file or folder name and then choose "Rename" from the context menu that pops up. Second, you can click twice on the file or folder name but make sure that the pause between clicks is sufficient for Windows to recognize that you are clicking twice and not "double-clicking". This is rather hard to do. But if you get it right, then an edit box comes up around the old name, and you can now type in the new name. An easier way to cause this same thing is to click once on the old file or folder name, in order to highlight it, then hit the F2 function key.
