GLOBAL VIEW OPTIONS IN EXPLORER
If you have Windows 98/ME, or Windows 95 with Internet
Explorer 4.x or higher installed on your system, you gain
the ability to apply Windows Explorer viewing options
globally on all your folders. For example, say that you
would always like to view your folders with Large Icons.
Here's how you do it: first open up any folder window and
set the desired viewing options. Next, click on the
Folder Options item on the Tools Menu (its the Options
item of the View menu in Win95.) Then click on the View
tab. Click on "Like Current Folder", click on
Yes to confirm this is what you want to do, and then
click on OK. Now all your folder windows will display the
same way.
