USING MICROSOFT FAX
If you have a modem under Windows 9x, then you
also have a fax machine. You can fax someone who has a
turned on fax machine any document that can be printed
through the File Print menu. This could be text or
graphic. After it has been created the way you want to
fax it, just go to the File Menu and choose the Print
option. A printer dialog box will open, showing your
default printer as the destination. If you click on the
down arrow in this list box, you should see an item for
Microsoft Fax; click on that to choose it, and then click
on the Print button. From here on the Microsoft Fax
dialog box will provide you with the instructions to
follow, like entering the name of the person you will be
sending the fax to, the fax phone number, and any info
you would like to put into a cover page.
