USING WINDOWS 98 UPDATE

Connect to the internet as you normally do (you don't have to use the Microsoft Internet Explorer. Netscape Navigator or even America on Line will work fine.) When you click on the Start button and click on the Windows Update item, you are automatically taken to the Windows 98 Update web site. If this is your first time visiting that site, you will be taken to a registration page. When you submit the data, the computer at the server will download configuration information about your computer. Then it will scan the Windows 98 data base in order to find a list of updated drivers or patches which applies to your system. A listing of everything found is displayed in your browser, and you can check off the updates you'd like to apply. When you click the download button, everything you selected will be sent to your pc and installed.
