SEARCHING MULTIPLE DRIVES FOR FILES OR FOLDERS
Presumably, you know how to search for files or
folders using the Find Files or Folders option on the
Start Menu. Did you know you can use it to search
multiple drives simultaneously? All you have to do is
type the list of drives in a certain format in the
"Look in" text box. Say, for example, you
wanted to search both drive C: and drive D: for some file
or folder. Then enter "C:\; D:\" in the text
box. Notice the semi-colon and the space that separate
the two drives in this list. If you want to search the
folders on these drives in your Find, then make sure that
the check box for "Include Subfolders" has a
check mark in it.
