USING MICROSOFT FAMILY LOGON
If your computer has multiple users, you probably have
enabled multiple user profiles on it, each with its own
settings for Desktop, visible programs, etc. For example,
a home pc could have user profiles for Mom and Pop and
the kids. Your kids may be getting sophisticated enough
to try creating multiple logon names for themselves. If
you want to try and prevent this, use Microsoft Family
Logon. (This is available for Windows 98 computers and
Windows 95 ones which have Internet Explorer version 4.0
or later on it.)

The Microsoft Family Logon presents a list of all logon
names that have been created for the PC to choose from,
and it is relatively difficult to add a new logon name.
To set this up, you must have Microsoft Family Logon as
an installed component, and have it selected as your
Primary Network Logon. If you don't have Microsoft Family
Logon as an installed component then you can install it
as follows: first, right click on the Network
Neighborhood icon on your Desktop in order to get to the
Network Properties page. Then click on the Add button on
the Configuration tab. Next double click on Client and
select Microsoft from the left pane. You will see
Microsoft Family Logon as one item on the right pane;
double click on it. On the Configuration tab, click on
the down arrow next to the field labelled Primary Network
Logon and select Microsoft Family Logon from the menu
list that drops down. Click on OK.
