SEEING BEHIND THE WINDOWS LOGO

Sometimes that famous blue sky with clouds screen that comes up after you have first turned on your machine or have re-booted the computer can be unhandy, for it hides whatever text is displayed by the boot sequence, which may be an error message if something is wrong. So how do see what is behind the logo screen? It's very easy: just touch the escape key, and the graphic will disappear temporarily, allowing you to see what is going on during the boot.
