BRINGING BACK THE WINDOWS TIPS
Do you remember the Windows 95 Tips that
appeared on your screen each time you first booted up the
computer? If you're like me, you eventually used your
mouse to click off the check mark in front of "Show
this screen the next time I start up the computer",
and so those tips disappeared. But not forever! If you
would like to bring them back again, then just bring up
the Windows Explorer and find the program WELCOME.EXE in
your Windows directory; then double click on it to run
it. When the screen with the current Windows tip comes
up, click on the check mark for showing the tip at bootup
time.
Another way you can run the Welcome.exe program besides
finding it and double clicking it in Windows Explorer is
to type "Welcome" (without the quotation marks)
in the Run dialog box off the Start Menu and clicking OK.
