SHIFT DOUBLE CLICKING ON MY COMPUTER
When you double click on My Computer you get a window
that looks a bit like a single-paned Explorer. But if you
hold down the shift key while double clicking on My
Computer, you get a window that looks more like the
regular double-paned Explorer view. One difference is
that the left pane of the 2-paned My Computer view begins
with My Computer, rather than with your C: drive. If you
would prefer not to hold down the shift key while double
clicking on My Computer in order to get a double-paned
Explorer view, there is another way: right Click on My
Computer, then choose the Explore option on the context
menu that pops up. On this same context menu, the Open
option corresponds with the normal single-paned view of
My Computer.
