KEYBOARD + MOUSE SHORTCUT TO PROPERTY PAGE
There are always so many ways to do things in Windows.
Some of you, like me, may bring up the Property page of
shortcuts, files, devices, Network Neighborhood, and many
other things for various reasons. For example, when you
look at the Property page of a shortcut icon, you can
discover the location of the actual program pointed to by
the shortcut. Or when you look at Properties for a file
in Windows Explorer, you can modify its Hidden or Read
Only attributes. When you look at the Property page for a
hard drive, you can find out how much free space it has
on it. Looking at the Property page for Network
Neighborhood will give you access to your Network
components. The most common way to get to the Property
page of an item is to right click on it in My Computer or
Windows Explorer and then select "Properties"
from the Context Menu that scrolls up. Here is another
way to do it, which uses your mouse and the keyboard. You
need to hold down the Alt key and simultaneously click on
the item you want the Property page for.
