GETTING TO HIDDEN CLOSE OR OK BUTTONS
Sometimes a window opens up to such a size that the
buttons you use in order to close it are hidden. You
know, I presume, that you can move a window around by
clicking on the Title bar and then holding the mouse down
as you drag. But suppose the Title bar is hidden? Then
you can't use the mouse to drag the window around. Here
is how you get around this problem: you have to use the
keyboard in order to get to a menu which will allow you
to move the window.
First, make sure the window is active, clicking on any
area of it if not. Now press the Alt key and the Spacebar
simultaneously, which opens up a menu that normally
appears when you click on the window's top left corner.
Press M for Move, and then use the Down arrow as many
times as needed to move the window's title bar into view.
Press Enter to end the Move command, and now you can drag
the windows around with the mouse after clicking on the
title bar. If moving the title bar into view hides the OK
button at the bottom of the window that you want to
press, then you might instead use the Up arrow in order
to get the bottom of the window viewable.
