INDIVIDUALIZE EACH DRIVE'S RECYCLE BIN IN
WINME
With Windows 95 and 98 you can vary the
percentage of hard drive space to be used by the system's
Recycle Bin, and you can also have the option of
immediately deleting files rather than sending them to
the Recycle Bin. This configuation is accomplished by
right-clicking the Recycle Bin icon on the Desktop and
selecting the Properties item on the Context Menu that
pops up. In Windows ME you have the same possibility of
setting Global operation of the Recycle Bin, but you also
have the option of making each of your hard drives
(assuming you have more than one, of course) have their
own individual properties. You do this by selecting
Configure Drives Independently on the Global tab of the
Recycle Bin Property page, and then clicking on each of
the different drive pages and making whatever changes you
wish.
