SAVING YOUR OWN DESKTOP SCHEMES
If you're a creative sort, you can design and save your
own color schemes for the Desktop. Right click any blank
area of the Desktop, select the item Properties from the
Context Menu that pops up, and you're shown the Display
Properties dialog box. Click on the tab at the top for
Appearance.

There will be a list box next to the word Item which has
a drop down arrow that you can click in order to choose
any of various settings for components of the Desktop,
such as windows, icons, and title bars. Modify them in
any way you wish, choosing fonts, colors, sizes, etc. as
appropriate, and then save your scheme by clicking on the
Save As button next to the word Scheme and furnishing a
name.
