MOUSE SONAR AND VANISH OPTIONS (WINME)
Ever had difficulty locating your mouse cursor on your
screen? Windows ME has added a new option called Sonar to
the Mouse Control Panel applet. If your mouse is a
Microsoft IntelliPoint one, then you need to select the
Visibility tab, otherwise click on the Pointer Options
tab. Once you have selected the Sonar option, here is how
it works: press the Ctrl key, and this will cause small
"sonar" circles to flash on your screen,
narrowing down on the location of your mouse curser. One
the other hand, you might want to hide the mouse cursor
when you begin typing. That is what the Vanish option
does. Of course, you can have both these options checked
at once, if you like.
