CURSOR CONTROL OF MY PICTURES SCREEN SAVER (WINME)

Note: this tip should be read in conjunction with the MY PICTURES SCREEN SAVER tip in Control Panel tips.

In my last column, I told you about Windows ME's capability for creating a slide show screen saver based on the contents of the My Pictures folder (or any other folder you can choose instead) which contains photo images. You can have some control over what is displayed during this slide show by using your right arrow and left arrow keys to move forward or backward through the list of pictures. It doesn't work? Then you need to do this: right click on an empty area of your Desktop, select Properties from the Context Menu that scrolls out, click on the Screen Saver tab, click the button labeled Settings, and then put a check mark next to Allow Scrolling Through Pictures With the Keyboard, and click OK.
