seasons, zipped for your convenience!
Season #1
Arc #1
The first season (or arc, whatever you want to call it). This was also the
hardest to write: each episode was released one after the other, on a weekly
basis. This lead to all sorts of fun panicky moments as I desperately tried
to maintain continuity. (zip can be found here)
- 101 Enter Hero[ine]
- The very first episode, the one that started it all. We meet Jen
Sakachi, and see her go through a fairly typical day. And of course, it's
the last typical day she'll ever have. Posted 4 March 1997.
- 102 Standardized Tests
- Jen and her class take the Exam, and through the magic of editing, we
find out the results, which'll force Jen to make a tough choice.
- 103 Leaving the Nest
- It's time for Jen to pack it up and start anew. She says goodbye to
all she's known, and says hello to the School.
- 104 First Days
- This is like no other orientation you've ever been to, trust me.
Jen gets a look at her home for the next year.
- 105 Meeting New Friends
- Jen meets Eileen Pearcy. She's an American...and you know what
that means. And as we see, there's more to Eileen than meets the
eye, in more ways than one.
- 106 Acceleration[s]
- In my original introduction to this episode, I commented that this was
where the excrement hit the ventilation device. Find out why, and why
this episode turns out to be a turning point in my twisted, convoluted
excuse for continuity.
- 107 Pomp and Circumstance
- Oh, they grow up so fast, don't they? We greet two new senshi, and
guess who they are?
- 108 A Few Goodbyes
- Sailor Orion must perform her duty, and to do so she's got to leave
behind perhaps the most important things in her life.
- 109 Welcome Aboard
- Think of it as a prolonged camping trip. Sailor Orion meets her
command, and (an) archnemesis.
- 110 Sailor Moon Makes the Scene
- Well, the title says it all, doesn't it? Sailor Orion meets Sailor
Moon, and...well, let's just say they'll be working together for a bit.
- 111 Bon Voyage
- Anchors aweigh! HMS Pleiades pulls out and moves on to places
unknown..then again, maybe they are known, and they just aren't
being told?
- 112 Life in the Middle of Nowhere
- A typical day on ship. Filled with ways to avoid boredom in the
middle of a vacuum.
- 113 Enter Villain[ess]
- Well, the tranquillity couldn't last, could it? Orion and Moon meet
the enemy, and she is...well, you'll see.
- 114 The Guy in Sector 7-b
- We're introduced to the chief engineer. But he couldn't possibly be
attracted to his captain, could he?
- 115 To Seek Out Strange New Worlds...
- Star Trek references aside, Pleiades visits an alien world with an
eerily familiar surface. A surface that could have just as easily been
our own.
- 116 Decompression
- Sailor Moon's been having difficulties, and they certainly aren't
getting any better. It goes without saying that in space, no one can hear
you scream.
- 117 A Letter Home
- The long blackout may finally be over, and Orion sends a little
something home. It's the last we'll see of home for awhile, and we also
learn just what breakfast cereal Her Majesty prefers.
- 118 At the Last Trumpet
- Space is far from safe, and everyone on Pleiades knows it. But they
don't realize just how unsafe it is until now.
- 119 The Captain's Dinner, part 1
- It's time to sit down for some eats with the captain! Nothing could
go wrong, could it? Of course not!
- 120 The Captain's Dinner, part 2
- Okay, by now you've realized the previous statement was a lie. Now we
get to find out why.
- 121 Occultation
- Orion and Moon haven't quite been the best of friends, and it's
showed. But now it's time to put up or shut up (and god do I hate cliches
like that).
- 122 Revelations
- Now we put all the cards on the table. In the original introduction,
I said it was a groanfest, and that stands.
- 123 Preparations for Battle
- Know your enemy, that's always the rule. Our heroes prepare to know
their enemy very well indeed, with some previously unknown help.
- 124 All Quiet on the Western Front
- The most nerveracking part of any engagement is the few hours just
before the engagement. We watch and wait.
- 125 Day of Destiny?
- It's time to end this charade. The final battle...but is it destiny,
or chance? Admittedly not the best episode.
- 126 Exeunt Ommes
- And now (most of) the loose ends are wrapped up, and a long-unanswered
question answered.
Arc #1
Season two is a pretty interesting character. In it we see a variety of
scenes from a variety of persons. On the whole, it's just setup for the
following two seasons, but I had fun writing it anyway. (zip can be found
here; does not include Sailor Moon O)
- 201 The Yearbook
- My first (and only) attempt at a lemon. It's been a couple of days
since episode 126, and Jen and Eileen are just getting used to being back
together. But it's also time to learn a bit more about Eileen's past.
Contains sexual content. This is tasteful, and not really explicit,
but you've been warned.
Arc #2
- Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon O
- For thirty years the memory of Castor and Pollux has hung over Crystal
Tokyo. It's been the subject of documentaries, doctoral theses, and
nightmares. And for half a year Orion's readers wondered who the hell
they were. Here, they find out...and so, in a way, do the senshi.
- 202 Sailor America's Day Off
- And now we're back. Right after our heroes finish what they had to do
in Sailor Moon O, Eileen decides to take a day off and...well, I'll let
her tell you.
- 203 Christmas in Crystal Tokyo
- Self explanatory, really. We see how the holiday gets celebrated in
the 31st century.
- 204 A History of the Formation Wars
- Put simply, this is my attempt to lay out what I say happens between
Sailor Stars and the founding of Crystal Tokyo. It's very dry
reading...but what do you expect from a history book?
Arc #3
- 205 The Class of 3028
- ...And since this is a five-year reunion, it must logically be 3033.
Jen meets an old friend who means no harm. Then again, they never do, do
they?
- 206 It Never Rains in Crystal Tokyo
- In which things go from bad to...oh, I don't know.
- 207 A Second Opinion
- And I'm sure some people are willing to give me a second opinion of
the entire story. Wait...damned ego, popping up at the worst moments...
- 208 A Matter of National Security
- In which we take a slight detour.
- 209 Because of My Naivete, What Will I Do?
- It's a shootout in Crystal Tokyo, and bullets aren't the only weapon
of choice.
- 210 My Heart is a Kaleidoscope
- The end of the crisis, in which we see the truth of a statement said a
long time ago.
The year is 3035. It's a year that will be noted for many things: sports
contests, elections, and perhaps the single most pivotal event in history
since a baby was born to Kenji and Ikuko Tsukino named Usagi. To call
this year epochal is an understatement. (zip can be found here; does not include Athena and Sheila)
- 301 And Let There be no Moaning of the
Bar...
- We open this little globe trotting expedition and see what everyone's
been up to in the three years since the last episode.
- 302 The Wild Wild West
- In which Serenity pays a visit to the American continent for the first
time, and learns that while it never rains in southern California, it does
get a bit cloudy.
- 303 Love Your Home
- In case you're curious, the title comes from a saying in the novel "The
Woman in the Dunes." Home, after all, is where the heart (should) be.
- 304 Let Us Beat our Plowshares into Swords
- Crystal Tokyo is a nice city, and Serenity returns to it. There, she
has to consider how to take recent events.
- 305 Henso
- Strategic surprise: in wartime it's not just a nice thing to
have, it's a necessity. Will it be achieved?
- 306 Post Time at Crystal Tokyo
- And they're off!
- 307 The Hundred Minute War
- In which we find just how fast things can go in warfare...and just how
slow as well.
- 308 The Serenity Defense
- At the midpoint of the season, Serenity puts it on the line once again.
- 309 What Becomes of the Broken-Hearted?
- A step forward into terror, one might say, as the Allies pull another
ace out of the hole.
- 310 Saturn in Two Acts
- A call to the bullpen.
- 311 Naval Supremacy
- Aside from a lack of references to musical groups, the Allies pull
another ace from their sleeves.
- 312 The Orbital Gambit
- A last swirling upsweep before we go back into chaos.
- 313 Low Earth Orbit
- A scene that might look familiar, andone for the history books.
- 314 Inflection Point[s]
- Two mathematical references, one of which counts.
- 315 Fortuna Imperatrix Mundi
- In which we find out just what lengths some people are willing to go to.
- 316 Fly Me to the Moon
- In which we wrap up some loose ends and say some goodbyes.
- The Crosstime Adventures of Athena and Sheila
(or: Buckaroo Ten'kai, Across the Many Dimensions)
- This wasn't written by me, actually. It's a crossover mixing several
different fanfic series, and as you've probably guessed, our two heroines
get to play a part in the festivities. Written close to a year ago, I've
finally gotten around to including it in its proper place in continuity.
The authors, by the way, are the estimable Chris Davies and Jeff Hosmer.
Enjoy.
From the ashes of the war of 3035, the subjects of Neo-Queen Serenity II
move on and rebuild, and in the final season of Sailor Orion, we focus on
what's happening in one little corner of her new domain. (zip can be found here
- 401 After Today, a Normal Senshi Again
- Jen and Eileen have found a nice shady spot to spend their time after
the war. And of course, it can't be expected to last very long.
- 402 America the Beautiful
- Eileen gets a tune-up.
- 403 Crisis Reactions
- With trouble looming in paradise, Hinansho recovers from an attack
no-one expected, while Eileen recovers from the fight of her life.
- 404 Standing Alone
- Jen attempts a return to normalcy, while three friends pop up again.
- 405 I Get Knocked Down, but I Get Up Again
- Sailor Orion gets a new toy, and for Sailor America naptime is over.
- 406 A Moment's Reflection
- In a historical turn Jen would appreciate, it is seen how we got here
from there.
- 407 A Double Education
- The sailor senshi cope with the government and an alien Speed Racer. Go Speed Go!
- 408 I Had a Little Help from my Friends
- No, it isn't a Wonder Years crossover. Orion and America figure they've earned a bit of a break after their latest escapade, but they're wrong.
- 409 School Days
- A day in the life of Jennifer Sakachi. Academentia hasn't changed a lot in a thousand years.
- 410 Three November Conferences
- Some more typical stuff, and the toughest trial Jen has yet faced.
- 411 Modern Agriculture
- Jen and Eileen take a vacation in the mountains.
- 411a is a companion to 411. It comprises
the same story, so if you skip it you won't be missing anything. The reason
I bring up skipping is because it's a bona fide lemon, and therefore some
readers may find it inappropriate or offensive. If you know that reading
explicit sexual depictions will either make you mad/annoyed/offended, or get
you in trouble with your mommy, do everyone a favor and go read 412.
- 412 Valhalla Delenda Est
- Orion and America go breakin' up the house.
- 413 The Agony of Defeat
- And now, the post-game summary by Howard Cosell.
- 414 The Second Time Around
- The return of a group of individuals you've run into before.
- 415 Starlight, Starbright, First Star I Save Tonight
- As the season reaches the home stretch, the senshi make a desperate gamble.
- 416 Getting to Know You, Getting to Know All About You
- Knowing your enemy is crucial in any hostile situation. Ask your local
friendly general.
- 417 The Darkest of Nights
- Well, a morning actually. But what a morning....
- 418 The Toughest of Fights
- Help comes from an unexpected quarter, as Orion makes a tough decision
that isn't tough at all.
- 419 Sayonara at the End of the Dance
Bishoujo Senshi Sailor America
It was well nigh inevitable, I guess. Considering how much readers like
her, I'd have to write this sooner or later. I don't know exactly how long
this'll run, but don't expect 16-20 episodes out of this one.
- 101 The Photo Shoot
- Jen and Eileen take some pictures (and no, they're not hentai ones)
- 102 Valentine's Day
- A few tidbits on Eileen's past.
For Love and Justice
Can you tell that I'm really enthusiastic about this one? For all intents
and purposes, this began on 1 January 2000, and has been going full tilt
ever since.
- Authors Notes
- Some preliminary stuff. Basic, really.
- Part I
- I think it's self-explanatory.
- Part II
- This should be self-explanatory too.
- Part III
- By now you should be getting the pattern.
- Part IV
- The conclusion of it all.
