The Sailor Orion/America Picture Gallery

(or something more pleasing to the eye than the Roman alphabet)

This is technically the third incarnation of the BSSO image gallery.  First were the text descriptions, then the thumbnails, and now I finally manage to combine the two.  Took long enough, I suppose...anyway, I've borrowed the Japanese web page style of making and displaying thumbs, just because I felt like something different.  Commentary is of course, always welcome.  Note that the pictures here are really done by lots of people who aren't me, and permission to put them on your page should be obtained by the individual artists, and not myself.  Needless to say, taking them anyway is a Bad Thing, and the Royal Star Navy will be sent to your home if you do so.  I assure you it won't be a courtesy call.

Wow.  That's really all I had to say after receiving this picture from Sharon Grim, long-time fan.  Super Sailor America, in the middle of her Stars and Stripes attack.  800x700, 106 KB.
And another wow for a picture by the same artist; Super Sailor Orion holding her sword, Kedalion.  I especially like the serious expression on her face.  600x1200, 125 KB.
This is actually the first BSSO fanart I received, and thus it has a special place in my heart.  It was this picture, in fact, that made me decide that Sailor Orion was my favorite senshi, surpassing even Mercury...although it took me awhile to realize this.  638x838, 338 KB.
This picture and the next are connected.  My parents had gotten a scanner, so I decided to try my hand at adapting my Sailor Mercury keychain to Orion.  This was my attempt.  660x1029, 15 KB.
After scanning said picture, I received feedback on it that basically said it sucked, which I knew already.  Kevin Callahan decided to show me how it should be done, and this was the result.  I'm sure you'll agree it's much better than what I managed.  528x725, 25 KB.
This is a small color picture by Elizabeth Hegerat.  Not much to say here, it's self-explanatory, with Jen reading up on a history book.  180x184, 10 KB.
Here's another offering from Kevin Callahan, who incidentially goes by Kionon on Sorcery.net #fanfics.  Jen in casual attire.  224x772, 28 KB.
Elizabeth Hegerat actually drew two pictures.  This is the second, from Jen and Eileen's School days, where Eileen is obviously having fun.   243x381, 24 KB.
Yep, Kevin really likes drawing these two.  Here he is again with an actual CG (computer graphic) of everyone's favorite pair.  Actually...ever notice that he seems to draw Eileen a bit better than Jen?  I hope it isn't favoritism...  618x811, 62 KB.
Here is Karama's rendering of Sailor Orion, which for the last few months has graced the wallpaper of my own computer. Since then I've changed it innumerable times.  472x834, 73 KB.
This one has actually been in my possession for some time, but a combination of forgetfulness and just plain losing it caused its delay in appearing until now. Sailor Orion and her sword; nice, isn't she? 1040x847, 97 KB.

To do for this page: email addresses and web pages of artists, and of course adding new artwork.  If you'd like to draw Jen, Eileen, or any of the other characters in the BSSO universe (Queen Serenity II, anyone?), in general you don't have to ask.  Just draw and send, and I'll be extremely thankful, as I have been for those whose works are displayed above.
