6. Playa Vista Phase Two Environmental Impact Report ("EIR")
Case No. ENV-2002-6129-EIR [25 min]

Motion: Create a subcommittee which may work together with
the GRVNC Conservation Committee to gather and comments on the EIR from
stakeholders which will then be transmitted by the subcommittee directly
to the Board of Directors for approval. Stakeholders may submit all comments
via email to lupc@grvnc.org, to PO
Box 2224, Venice, CA, 90291, or dropped off at the Vera Davis Center at
610 California Street, Venice. Comments should be addressed to "GRVNC LUPC
Subcommittee."
Motion: Board of Directors requested to call a Special
Meeting, at least three days prior to the December 22nd comment
deadline, to consider the subcommitteeís comments and, if approved, transmit
these comments to the City Planning Department by the December 22nd
deadline, with an appropriate cover letter including:
1) purpose is to communicate stakeholder concerns
and facilitate community input
2) outline the major areas addressed in comments
3) request Planning Dept address each of the comments
thoroughly, which will enable
informed discussion so that GRVNC will be able to
take a position on the development subsequent to
the release and review of the Final EIR.
7. Lincoln Center Redevelopment: CPC-1999-210-ZC-CU-YV [25 min]
Motion: Reconsider LUPCís October 6, 2003 approval of motions
related to this development because project does not comply with Venice
Community Plan and Envision Venice Lincoln Boulevard Planning Report must
be consulted prior to LUPCís approval or denial of project. (See attached
Meeting Minutes for specific language of the motions passed).
8. St. Josephís Center: 204 Hampton Drive [25 min]
Project Description: Demolition of an existing 11,000 square-foot
community services center and replaced on the same site with a new 25,000
square-foot community services center.
Requested Entitlements: A Specific Plan Exception, Conditional
Use Permits, Coastal Development Permit
