Project Description:
Demolition of an existing 11,000 square-foot community services center
and replaced on the same site with a new 25,000 square-foot community
services center.

event given by Venice Community Coalition leaders
b. Request for Committee endorsement of the Report
c. Request for Committee to appoint an ad hoc subcommittee
that will carry the Envision Venice plan forward to the City Planning
Department,
Council and Mayor’s office.

- Relative to the
eastern section of Venice (the only area in Venice not covered by the
Venice Coastal Specific Plan or the Oxford Triangle Plan).

Item: Participation in the Coastal Commission Hearings on the
amended Venice Coastal Specific Plan. [10 min
a. Summary of
issue reported by John Davis
b. Delegate a
committee member to be the "watchdog" so that LUPC can timely agendize
the matter to represent community wishes at the Coastal Commission
public hearings.
