5) Action Item: Formula retail chain stores (5 min)
a) Motion: Sponsor and schedule community forum to discuss proposal to recommend an ordinance or change to the Venice Specific Plan or other mechanism that would limit "formula retail stores," (chain stores) in our community.
b) Identify members of a working group that will organize and coordinate the community forum
6) Action Item: Proposed Rehabilitation Center at 2432 Walnut (15 min)
Motion: to support limit of six residents at Center and to transmit this motion to GRVNC Board for approval.
7) Action Item: Abbot Lofts 1645-1657 Abbot Kinney (20 min)
Motion: to adopt official position on project for transmittal to GRVNC Board for approval and transmittal to Hearings Officer.
8) Action Item: Playa Vista Phase Two Development (30 min)
Motion: (1) to adopt LUPC-prepared Draft report on FEIR, Vesting Tentative Tract Map, Plan Amendments and Development Agreement; (2) to adopt recommendation for official position of Venice relative to the proposed development and its impacts on GRVNC stakeholders ["Community Impact Statement"]; (3) to adopt and officially endorse petition similar to MVCC petition; and (4) to transmit all to GRVNC Board for approval and transmittal to City Planning, City Council and Mayor.
9) Discussion/Action Item: 213 S. 6th
Ave; 202 S. 5th Ave.; 741 E. Broadway (30 min) - POSTPONED TO SEPT. 7

A representative from Frank Murphy and Associates (developer) will give 15 minute presentation on the above projects. Questions from audience and dialogue will be encouraged.

Pioneer Bakery representative will give 15 minute presentation on proposed housing project for the Pioneer Bakery site. Questions from audience and dialogue will be encouraged.
