Leslie Anderson Fine Art

For me, painting is an analogy for life: a balance of risk and control, knowing when to go with the flow, knowing when to stop. I started painting several years ago as an antidote to my crazy job in high tech, never dreaming it would change my life.

Recently I moved to Maine with my husband Dan Nygaard (of Dan's Flower Farm) to have more time to paint. Since then, I have established my studio/gallery, Art @ the Flower Farm, had numerous solo shows, made many new art-related friends, and sent many, many paintings off to new homes in private and corporate collections around the world. DRIVING DIRECTIONS TO GALLERY AND FLOWER FARM: From Blue Hill, head south on Rt. 15. At the junction of Rt. 15 and Rt. 172 (top of Tenney Hill, Tradewinds Marketplace) turn left on Rt. 172. After a mile or so, Rt. 175 splits off to the left towards Brooklin; stay straight on Rt.172. After about 5 miles you will come to an open blueberry barren, water on your left, Sedgwick town line towards the top of the hill. Soon you'll come to Sedgwick Storage on your right. You'll pass Pertville Road on the right. The next intersection is Old County Road; The Granite Shop in on the right-hand corner. We are the second signed driveway on the left; the blue street sign says FLower Farm Lane. There's a hanging sign for Dan's Flower Farm/Art @ the Flower Farm and a tan shingled house by the road. We're in the shingled barn down behind the house.

Framing, Payment, & Shipping
All oil and acrylic paintings are unframed (unless otherwise noted) with painted edges, ready to hang. Most watercolors are available framed or unframed. I use only museum-quality metal or wooden frames and archival mats.
