The Ring of Kerry is topographically diverse.
Through the center, maginficent mountains thrust heavenward. By the sea, near Valentia Island
gentle hills nestle up next to the water and sheep graze on the countryside. And, in every
town, there is a pub, much like Sean Ogs, where you can sing, dance and drink to traditional
Irish music. (Click on photo for larger view.)
Pete, Siobhan, Anthea and I met up in Tralee to hire a car. The
next day, we drove through the center of the Ring of Kerry, and stayed overnight on Valentia
Island before heading up the coast to Dingle.
