Our Mission Statement
To provide access
to computer technology, assist in the dissemination of computer equipment
and provide job-marketable training for the Information Technology
field. To create community technology access centers nationwide that will
be hubs of social interaction, empowerment and employment opportunities.
The Appleseed Project will bring
high technology to your neighborhoods --bringing grandparents together
with children, mothers to the career-place and youngsters to a place of
empowerment.
The Appleseed Project is an opportunity
for us, as a Nation, to recreate our communities.

from the great example of the 300+ plus Commmunity Technology Access Centers
nationwide--a living example of the "Each One-Teach One" philosophy in
action is the Plugged-In CTC in
East Palo Alto, California.
The Community
Technology Center Network (CTCNET) is a consortium of 300+ organizations
who have come together to promote the development of CTACs nationwide.

What is a Community Technology Center?
A CTC is a community center where people
get access to computers and computer-related technology,
such as the Internet. If you came to one of these sites, here's what you
