FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE!!!
1999 TRIATHLON HIGHLIGHT VIDEO
Seattle, WA. Pro-Motion X5a Seattle based multi-media production company, announced today that its highly anticipated 1999 triathlon highlight video will be available in time to meet the demands of shoppers. The 50 minute film will premiere at the December meeting of the Seattle Triathlon Club, and be available for sale beginning on December 15th. The work, produced by Kevin M. Lynch, Senior VP at Pro-Motion X5, in conjunction with Malibu based Latigo Filmworks, Inc. is an original documentary that chronicles the entire 1999 triathlon season with heavy emphasis on Northwest events. Races from Northern California's Wildflower Triathlon Festival to the prestigious Ironman Canada in Pentiction, BC, were shot with a combination of digital and Hi-8 equipment. Seattle races include Escape the Rock, Beaver Lake, The Olympics and Kingfisher Triathlons, as well as several other Washington State events. Oregon events include the Blue Lake and Hagg Lake Triathlons, both productions of AA Sports of Portland, who, along with the Seattle Triathlon Club, co-sponsored the production. The video takes a fast paced, energetic, vigorous romp through each race, following the athletes as they swim, bike and run. Many of the bike sequences were shoot from the back of motorcycles providing a live feel that creates an accelerated appreciation of the sport. The original soundtrack was scored and recorded in Seattle, and also features the work of The SchwagÓ a highly acclaimed St. Louis based band. If you did a triathlon in the Northwest in 1999, chances are good you'll end up in the filmÓ, says producer Lynch, we went to great length in the attempt to nail the essence of the sport, and in doing so, came away with an highly entertaining tribute to everyone who made 1999 such a great year for triathlon. The video is a fund raiser for the Seattle Triathlon Club and AA Sports of Portland, OR. Copies are available by sending $29.95 to Pro-Motion X5, 11626 Olympic View Dr. N.E. Bainbridge Island, WA 98110. PMX5 can also be reached by calling 206.842.5117 or via e-mail at email@example.com.
