Military Service Record Summary:

"Rollins, Thomas R.------- private May 15, 1861. Surrendered, Appomattox, Va. April 9, 1865."

Thomas Rollins raised a family in Montgomery and Toombs County, Georgia and is buried in Toombs County's Sharpe Cemetery.  The Sharpe Cemetery is located between Aston (Montgomery County) and Cedar Crossing (Toombs County) Georgia on a paved county maintained road.  Some farmers who claim kin to Thomas R. Rollins grow Vidalia Onions.  (Information from George E. King, descendant of Thomas Rollins.)

Thomas R. Rollins is the GG grandfather of Tammy Searcy, and GGG grandfather of Heath Stalans, Hunter Searcy, and Hanna Searcy.
