Biographical Information:

Day, William - 2d Sergeant May 15, 1861. Discharged, disability, July 3, 1863. 

William Day was born in England in 1819. He married Susan Britain in Georgia and worked a farm in Oglethorpe County. William may have had a brother named Edward [possibly E. Day in Company I?], a son named John Henry Day and another son named George Hopper Day, all of whom also served the Confederacy. William Day also had a daughter named Eliza Jane Day. William Day is buried on private property at his old homesite near Stephens, Oglethorpe County, Georgia.)
