Biographical Information:

Edward Day is probably the younger brother of William Day of Company K. Edward Day was born in England, lived in Oglethorpe County, and married Susanna Edwards. Edward and William Day ran a grist mill in Oglethorpe County, and were stonecutters as well as farmers. Edward Day was born July 12, 1826 and died on Aug. 26, 1907.

Day, E. (Edward) ---- private. Surrendered, Appomattox, Va. April 9, 1865.
