Bushman Road and Farm at Gettysburg, just east of the Emmitsburg Pike. Big Round Top is in the distance. Gen. Hood was wounded in a peach orchard at this farm, probably near the barn at the right. The 8th Georgia Regiment and the rest of "Tige" Anderson's Brigade gathered in this open area, prior to advancing into the Rose Woods shown at the far left of this photo. |
