Mischief is an extraordinary performance sailing yacht that has been totally refitted to better-than-new specifications. Here is a complete outfitting list along with the new modifications done to enhance the qualities of this outstanding yacht. All new work was completed in 2000.

Above Decks

  • New hull paint: The hull was sanded, primed with 3 coats of primer, and painted with two coats of Flag Blue Awlgrip and two coats of Clear Awlgrip, with two metallic gold boot strips and one gold top stripe. (new 2000)

  • New Bottom paint: The hull and keel were sandblasted, sealed and primed with 4 coats of primer and painted with three coats of Petit Trinidad paint. (new 2000)

  • New non-skid: The non-skid topsides were painted with Moondust Awlgrip. (new 2000)

  • Custom Doyle sails: fully-battened mainsail, 140 genoa, 100 genoa stormsail, cruising spinnaker (blue/gold). (new 2000)

  • All new running rigging (new 2000)

  • Custom made rigid boom vang (new 2000)

  • Custom canvas: (Sunbrella "Brass") Dodger w/ Eisenglass, bimini, extension, sailcover, windlass cover, five winch covers, outboard motor cover, radar cover. (new 2000)

Electrical
:

  • Complete electrical survey with schematics (Ward's Marine Electric, Ft. Lauderdale)

  • Two 30-amp electrical systems with three 50' and one 75' shore cable

  • Custom 110 electrical panel with Shore 1, Shore 2, Generator Switch, and 10 new breakers. (new 2000)

  • 1996 Trace 2500 Inverter/Charger

  • Trace Battery Monitoring System (new 2000)

  • HFL 8 kw generator, water cooled, 3600 rpm, with soundproof cover and additional lead insulation surrounding generator compartment with separate 4-D gelcell battery. (new 2000)

  • Changed all 110 outlets to grounded outlets and added new grounded outlets in heads, owner's stateroom, salon and navigation station (new 2000)

  • Installed inverter bypass switch (new 2000)

  • Six (6) new 4-D gelcell batteries (approximately 1000 AMP hours) (new 2000)

  • One (1) new gelcell engine starting battery (new 2000)

  • Two (2) new 12Volt DC plugs (cockpit and navigation station) (new 2000)

Electronics/Instrumentation

  • Raytheon RL70 Radar with 24 NM dome (new 2000)

  • Raytheon 520 Chartplotter with HSB (three wide area charts: Florida East Coast, Bahamas, Puerto Rico/Caribbean) (new 2000)

    note: The radar is located in the cockpit and is a repeater for the Chartplotter 520. The Chartplotter 520 is located at the navigation station and is a repeater for the radar. Therefore complete charting and radar controls are at both navigation station and helm.

  • Raystar 114 differential GPS Antenna (new 2000)

  • Polished and cleaned fuel tank.

  • Custom stainless steel holding tanks.(12 gallons each) (new 2000)

  • Telephone and cable TV/satellite connections on transom and wired throughout boat (new 2000)

  • All railings, shrouds, stays, mast, electronics, etc. were grounded to keel (new 2000)

  • Extensive copper grounding system for Single Side Band w/ exterior copperplates (new 2000)
