Salt Lick's "Liberty Belle" at 5 weeks of age. NOTE at this age she would be called a Black & Tan

"Belle" at 11 months. What a difference!

Salt Lick Kennels can produce Majestic hounds that range from the classic Black & Tan look  (see "Chopper" for example: Salt Lick's Tree Chopper) to the extreme High Tan (see "Liberty Belle" on this page for example). The pups are very dark but lighten with age, as you can see from the comparative photos of "Liberty Belle" on this page.

Salt Lick Kennel's "Liberty Belle" and "Pele" loading up into "their" Gulfstream jet with their new family. Even though they had never even seen a plane before Belle and Pele went right up the stairs to their new life of jetting the skies of the world.

Belle was from the July 2005 breeding of Salt Lick's Tree Chopper (see Salt Lick's "Tree Chopper") and Salt Lick's Bad Penny (Salt Lick's "Bad Penny"). Pele was from the same parents a year later.
